Spiritual Life Western Assemblies Home is, in every sense, a Retirement Community and a Home rather than an institution. Located 30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, Claremont is best known for its tree-lined streets, historic buildings, and college campuses. The nearby village area is convenient for the Post Office, Library, and typical village shops and eateries. Within a radius of five miles are numerous shopping areas, including a Mall. The modern freeway system makes many interesting places available within an hour's drive. Some of the venues include sandy beaches, picturesque deserts, or snow-capped mountains. The activities that Southern California and its climate offer can be experienced by our residents and their guests.
