Our Facilities

The Western Assemblies Home is located in the heart of Claremont, California, and consists of a Main Building on Berkeley Avenue and 11 houses or "cottages" on adjacent streets (Stanford Drive and Grinnell Drive). These accommodations provide a variety of housing that gives flexibility to meet the needs of residents. WAH has a dedicated staff to serve residents, including around-the-clock caregivers. Utilities such as heat, air conditioning, light, electric, and water services are provided to rooms in the Main Building and cottages.

The Main Building and cottages are on the ground level, where most of the rooms are for single occupancy, each with private facilities. Two-room suites are also available.

Independent Living
Independent living is available to residents in the surrounding cottages and includes utilities, maintenance, housekeeping, lawn care, and parking facilities. Laundry is an optional service for those who choose independent living.

Main Building
WAH is indeed a unique place with its homelike atmosphere.

Our support to residents who need care is provided in the Main Building, which includes three meals a day, laundry, housekeeping, caregiver services, and many activities. The Care Wing provides additional care for those who may need assistance with daily needs.

The living area in the Main Building includes a spacious living room on one side of the inviting entry and a comfortable dining room on the opposite side. There is also a lovely sunroom and an outside patio for resident and guest enjoyment.

Care Wing
WAH provides additional care in the Care Wing of the Main Building for those who require it. These services include resident observation and supervision by the caregiver on duty, bathing, grooming, eating, dressing, and medication assistance.
